Effective planting is like decorating for a garden. It’s the essence that transforms an outside space into an outside room!

At the heart of Twigs & Blooms is a love of plants and planting combinations; it might be a subtle pockets of shady plants, swathes of repeat planting or a cluster of foliage heavy pots – each different, but each one able to bring emphasis, focus and coordinated planting for both mature and brand new gardens alike.

You may have a definite idea of how you’d like to improve your planting or a blank canvas for a fresh new look. Through spending time in your garden and with you, I will be able to provide recommendations and plant advice to develop planting schemes to be loved for years to come.

Building on my love of plants and gardening, Twigs & Blooms was created in 2016 to provide gardening services in Welwyn and the surrounding villages. Following further qualifications from Capel Manor Horticultural College – Level 3 Certificate in Plants & Planting Design – my services now focus largely on planting design and sharing my plant knowledge.

Spending time in clients gardens – whether they have been gardening them for years or if the garden is brand new – is a delight and helping clients to develop planting schemes they love and usable spaces to get the most out of is a privilege.
